Thanksgiving

Well it is the week of Thanksgiving and this time of year always gets me thinking of how thankful I am and how blessed I have been. To all of my friends I would like to say thank you, you have loved me through the highs and lows and even when I made the stupid choices you loved me and supported me because you knew they were my choices to make. To my wonderful Husband who sometimes is the biggest pain in my you know what, I love you and thank you for the support you have given me through the last few years, we have had our ups and downs, through the health scares and car accidents but I wouldn't trade you (Yet LMAO). Anyways this is a little short because for the first time in my life I am taking charge of my goals and actually setting some and trying to acheive them, I know big suprise to those of you who have known me for a long time. Usually I set goals and then forget about them and do what I fell like doing at the moment, but I set a goal to lose 80 Lbs by Dec 31, 2010 and I am actually taking steps to acomplish it! I have already lost 8 lbs! go me! Anyways I am off to play my Wii fit and get into shape. Happy Thanksgiving to all and wish me luck!

Is it Monday?

Well Mike is at work and I am home alone. As much as I love my husband I have come to realize the last few months of having him home (all the time) I need my time too LOL. He drives me bonkers some of the time. Our latest argument has been how he feels good enough to work on RC cars but not good enough to do the dishes. Oh well that is my random thought for the day. So today was interesting my brain quit functioning this morning and I totally forgot that I had a P&L review at 9:30 am in SLC and didn't leave Lehi until 9:40 am and left my store short a person for a half hour. As I was calling my opening manger to tell her what was going on She was calling me to tell me that she was having problems getting into the safe. By the time the day was done my migraine took me out for the night. I got home after taking a nice senic detour all the way from 900 E where my store is to banagter and 54th down to I 15 don't ask LOL. Anyways I get home and Harley decides that Pierre is his newest chew toy and carries him around b y trhe scruff and won't put him down. I finally get Harley to drop Pierre who then proceeds shoot under the bed. Now the bed is only about 8 inches above the floor, that is an important note to this story, anyways Pierre goes for under the bed followed closely by Harley ( Now you see were this story is going don't you) After securing Pierre and Lucy, I then proceed to get Harley unstuck from under the bed were he didn't realize that he has to lie on his side and scoot to get underneath it instead of going straight in. After 5 mins and some pitiful noises later Off go Harley and Pierre again and Lucy looking at them in disgust at that point I was done and put them in their room to let them calm down. 3 hours later Harley is still carrying Pierre around by the scruff of his neck and won't put him down Lucy is still looking in disgust at him and Pierre is growling and trying to figure out a way to get ahold of Harleys ear, and people wonder why I feel like I have children already lol. So at the end of this story I ask you Is it Monday?

And so it begins

So here goes my second attempt at blogging hopefully this goes better than the first one LOL. So another year has come and almost gone and I find myself wondering where the time is going. Life is flying by so quickly, Mike and I celebrated our three year wedding anniversary in August, and what a three years it has been. Three major surgeries, three moves and three cars it should be interesting to see what the next three years will bring. Mike had a back fusion at the beginning of Sept and has been driving me crazy because he is bored. Lord love him thank the lord that he is going back to work at least part time this week maybe I won't have to kill him lol. Work is going great, I have my own store now it has been an interesting transition. I have struggled with alot of things but things are going much more smoothly now. I have a new assistant and my old one is getting stronger everyday so that makes life alot easier. Mike has taken up RC cars and is doing really well, his best friend Zack moved back down from Montana with his girlfriend Andee and Mike and him are playing with grown up cars LOL My poor house is covered in RC crap LOL. Well I guess that is all for right now. Hopefully I can do better at keeping this one up and running.
